As the CEO of Michelle Erskine Entertainment, Michelle has spent over a decade elevating the entertainment landscape, specializing in collaborations and productions featuring multiple artists and artforms. Michelle’s reputation for professionalism and her keen eye for talent have made her a sought-after partner for venues and organizations across the Reno-Tahoe region and beyond. Her love for the arts grew into a passion for supporting live performances, and ultimately M.E.Entertainment was born.  The agency distinguishes itself through a 'boutique' approach—focusing on high-quality, curated experiences rather than mass-market booking.  The diverse roster of talent includes musicians, performance art and specialty entertainment. Michelle uses the agency as a vehicle for community growth, with an emphasis on supporting non-profit organizations.

 

Michelle is the owner of Art Truckee, an art gallery located in downtown Truckee, CA. Art Truckee showcases multiple artists, including Michelle’s own fine art landscape photography.  Originally formed as a non-profit, envisioned as an artist’s hub, and a space for community engagement and theater.  After two location changes, The Art Truckee gallery’s space has been reimagined, but it maintains a strong focus on positive community impact.

 

As an artist and an athlete, Lake Tahoe is Michelle’s favorite place to live, work & create. She knew from an early age, about fifth grade that she loved photography. She started out on the school newspaper and yearbook, then became the senior class historian, and eventually would transition into weddings and portraits. Now specializing in fine art landscapes, her portfolio emphasizes forever captivating sunsets and even more so, the mesmerizing sunrises, with dynamic lines and colors in the skies and waters. Michelle captures artistic and expressive compositions of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains that reflect emotion, tranquility and a unique moment in time, approaching each photo shoot with research and strategic planning.  When she’s not hanging art, she can often be found hiking up to that next amazing viewpoint. Michelle's work can be found in many local publications including the cover of Tahoe Magazine, The Weekly, and the Sierra Sun, to name a few.

 

In the realm of professional and female empowerment, Michelle serves as the Managing Director for the eWomenNetwork Reno/Tahoe chapter, where she is a fierce advocate for female business owners and executives. In this leadership role, she leverages her extensive network to create a "force multiplier" effect for women navigating life as a CEO. By providing a platform for strategic networking and mentorship, Michelle ensures that the women in her orbit have the resources, visibility, and collective support needed to scale their businesses.

 

Michelle is a proud parent of two remarkable children. Raising them in Truckee has leveled that balance of being a mother and business owner, she’s been able to incorporate her children in so much of what she does. Michelle is also a best-selling author, a Truckee Rotarian, an ambassador for the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, and she also serves on multiple non-profit boards.
